Disable Some EE items

Is there any way to delete, certain items in equivlent exchange items. I have looked into EE mod properties, but have found nothing

I set allowDCatalyst = 0

But it still works

Was it in the game when you changed the settings? All that config file does is disallow crafting of the item in question. You can still spawn them in, and it doesn't remove any. If you want to do something like that, you'll have to use a plugin, like NoItem or something.

I Want to disable the use of the item
