My inventory is like a condenser!?

Description of Problem:

When I put a piece of dark matter in my inventory it wants to convert to red matter. When it does this it disapers and then I need to put enough emc in my inventory to get the red matter . This happens with other items in this order. 1 cobble 2 iron 3 gold 4 diamond 5 dark matter 6 red matter. Please help me fix this.

You have a Gem of Eternal Density active in your inventory. Take it out.

Don't put it in an alchemy bag unless you want the bag to act the same way, though.

Edit: It could also be an active Void Ring.

I dont have a Gem of Eternal Density. But I will try turning the void ring off.

The Void Ring works like a combined Black Hole Band and Gem of Eternal Density. It pulls items in and compresses them, so yes, that was your issue. The other functions are the 'R' key to teleport to the point you're looking at, and right-click to make water or lava go *poof*.
