Launcher Version: 3.1.2

Operating System: windows 7

Java Version: 7

Antivirus Program: spyware doctor

Description of Problem:

When i attempt to use the launcher, it displays the loading screen for a second, then crashes. I believe the problem was caused by updating java, but i tried using an older version of java, and it opens a command window instead

Your launcher still says you have 6u31, so you probably have multiple versions of Java installed. Get rid of all but the most recent (7u5, in this case). Then drop your RAM allocation on the launcher to 512MB-1GB. You're trying to allocate too much, and Java is whining about it.

Fixed! The most recent version of java doesn't seem to work, but I installed 6u32 and it's been working just fine. I don't know why 7u5 won't work though..
