Cannot connect to anything

Hey all, well i'll spare you the essay and state the facts:

- i have port forwarded

- i have set a static ip

- i have allowed techinc pack starter through my firewall

- i have uninstalled kapersky antivirus (worked before i installed it)

and every time i try to connect to any server, i either cant find the server, and thouse i do find i cannot connect to, i get an error message that is some sort of 3 million word long url.

has anyone else experianced this, and if so, how do i fix it?
