How to prevent RedPower Frames from attaching to adjacent blocks?

I want to build a frame door that slides into a 1 block wide hole, however, when it slides one block down, it attaches to the ground and move anymore. I tried covering the frames with panels, but they still attach to the ground. Is there any way to do this?

Panels allow sticking. Covers don't. That's the distinction.

Panels allow you to place objects that normally require a solid block. This includes all wiring, torches, redpower circuit blocks, and so on.
