Technic Launcher will not proceed at banner

BrilliantLotus

Question

Launcher Version: 7.2

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Java Version: 7.0.50

Antivirus Program: Uninstalled all and firewall is off

Description of Problem:

I decided to get the Technic Launcher today for the mods, and I did a fresh install of MC. I ran the launcher and the bar that downloads Technic appeared. It finished and the banner of Technic opened up. Then it froze there. I spent an hour figuring out what went wrong, and I think I found it out. I've deleted the .techniclauncher folder multiple times, and I noticed something. The files seem incomplete. Other people have a problem in which they have only 1 file, the technic-launcher.jar file. I have a launcher folder, logs folder, temp folder, launcher.properties file, and technic-launcher.jar file.

I have tried deleting the other files besides the technic-launcher.jar and ran the launcher again, but I get the same problem. I uninstalled my AV and turned off the firewall to no avail. I just keep getting the banner, and nothing happens.

Is there a known fix for my problem? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Btw this fix works but you have to eddit it if your java is in another place on your computer. like mine was in program (C:\Program Files (x86)) so i had to change the file a little bit so the search way got corrected! but thanks for all the help took me a while to find this small problem. well it often happens that we overlook the small things. well thanks for the help and Have a nice time. now i am off to play my technic! :D
