Tekkit log inproblems

Description of Problem:

when i try to log in to tekkit it says connecting to minecraft.net and it will not connect its been connecting for 2 hours now i close and relog in and it keeps saying this

If you can get in with the regular Minecraft launcher, try deleting your lastlogin file in the .techniclauncher folder.
