Allocated Memory

Hello Gentleman and Ladies,

I am trying to increase my allocated memory for tekkit.

Looked all over the internet, but I can't seem to increase it. I have changed the java runtime paramater to xmx5120m, it's enabled.

When I start a singleplayer game I have: fluctuating% of used memory of 247mbs, allocated memory 173mbs

When I join my server i have : Fluctuating% of 247mb Used memory, allocated memory 203mbs

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Running:

Intel core i5 750 2.67 ghz

8.00GB ram

64-bit windows 7 OS

NVIDIA Geforce GTX 560

Server is: java -Xmx3G -Xms2G -jar Tekkit.jar nogui

Did you increase ram in the launcher?

Yes I did that,

I figured it out though. Reinstalled java 64bit and the 32bitoffline and did a restart.
