After finishing up my quarry, It is filled up with water. I know their's a way to remove it, but i just can't remember which pipes and if I can just use a regular pump. Any help?

Just use a normal pump, power it with an engine, and have waterproof pipes (no wooden one required) sending the water over to a bunch of tanks.

Or, borrow a volcanite amulet off someone, and press 'c' to remove all the water in the local area. :D

Ah, thought I saw someone do it another way with just a pump and some very thin pipes, and the only way I can borrow an amulet is if it "borrow" it from too many items :/ aw well then guess ill just have to make the ring

The pump creates its own pipes down to the water when it's powered by an engine.

It's a useful thing to have.

No, haha I ment a pipe that you have to make to transport the water out of the quarry.

I think what you are referring to is a red power pump? I've seen that used to drain water from one area and pour it into another. It's fairy buggy though but perhaps worth a try! I don't have more specific details though! Sorry! Good luck.

The RedPower pipes are cheaper, but the pump to go with it is more expensive and laborous to build.

Also, that system actually transports and deposits liquid source blocks elsewhere, so you need to think about that.
