when i try to use the technic pack it crashes

Launcher Version: Technic Dev Build 7.2.7

Operating System: Windows Vista (its quite slow and laggy at points. i dont know how much RAM it uses either)

Java Version: Java 6 update 26 (build 1.6.0_26-b03)

Description of Problem:

i opened up technic launcher and clicked on the technic pack. it asked me if i wanted to update i said yes. it updated and when i logged in after the Mojang symbol an error report came up.

Failure to correctly download the mod files is often caused by an antivirus, or possibly a firewall, interfering with the download. If you're using Norton, McAfee, or especially AVG, shut it off while the launcher's running.

have similar problem with technic pack ssp when trying to launch i get this error:

Then you probably just need a new copy of the launcher and a complete reinstall. Back up your mod pack folder, and make sure you get rid of .minecraft as well. New everything! :D
