Bug and question

hello,

i notice there was a bug on the "mob-spawner" when i go into my server and choose for example zombie or skeleton spawner, i get Pig spawner always, is there a fix for it?

and i wanted to know if anyone know how to exactly install the other MODs on tekkit? been trying to install flan's mod but it always give me something like "can't read azipped file" and if i take it out, it still doesn't read it, more like ignoring it... maybe i am not installing it correctly?
