Really need help with windmills :/

Hey, Im playing the latest stable build of tekkit(sorry i dont know the number)I host my own server,no more than three people at a time,running the console on my computer

Well,i set up my windmill yesterday.First i coated it in wool to make it look nice,But the windmills werent generating power.the the four lower windmills are 64 blocks above the ground,connected to an MFE at my home,i estimate about 150 glass fiber cables were used,but probably more around 200

I took the wool 2 or 3 blocks away from the windmill itself,still didnt work,Then i took all of the wool off,STILL didnt work,so i watched a video on youtube about it,a comment said they only work when connected to batboxes,so i tried that,still didnt work,soi presume that was a glitch with the build used in the video.

I can give excact specs if needed,or someone with smarts about it can come on my server and see,dosent matter to me.PLEASE REPLY QUICKLY

Glass fiber cables will lose 1EU/t if the length is longer than 40 blocks, and wind mills have difficulty producing much more than that at the best of times, so if the cable from windmill to storage is longer than 40 you may be losing all the energy in transit. If this is the case, you could avoid the energy loss by interrupting the cables around halfway with a single batbox.

What height are your mills at overall, rather than in relation to the ground? If they're lower than level 90, they won't produce much energy at all.

sorry,dont have enough time to measure.but around layer 110,and i have 5(one is 5 blocks higher than the other 4 which are in a plus formation,tomorrow if i hvae time ill try the batbox out,but the GUI of the windmill is saying im not producing energy at all EDIT: The lower four windmills are at level 155 and the higher one is at level 160(by rei minimap)
