Description of Problem:

I lost some stuff when I was playing Tekkit.

We play on a server where I seem to be the only one having the problem. It looks like my inventory resets itself to the way it was when I started the game. This happened twice now ( with vanilla and tekkit items).

I've no idea if I changed some settings or if it's a bug. Could some help me solve this problem so I'm able to play again without fearing my progress will me lost.

are the maps resetting?

is there an error with your playerdata in your world file?

is it doing that without you resetting the world? (if so you need to just delete your world and try again)

It's a multi-player world, it happened twice and both times there was a lag with the server. No error is visible for me as a player (but i'm a noob).

The only way this happens is that your player.dat file on the server gets deleted, or you were playing in offline mode and switched to online, or vice versa.

Is there a possibility that it switched offline to online automaticly without me knowing?

I have a problem very similar, most every time i close my server the items and people all reset to were they were when i started the server, we keep losing lots of items and its a general disturbance
