Mods not installed

Description of problem:

I am trying to host a tekkit server, the .bat file runs fine until it gets to recipes, it says there are 'severe' problems with loading them but tries to anyway. when i try to connect to my own server it instantly crashes telling me i do not have various mods installed.

Is your server and client the same version?

To me it seems like you are hosting a 2.1 server, and trying to connect with a 2.0 client.
