Technic Launcher closes at update!

Operating System: OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion)

Java Version: 1.7.0_05

Antivirus Program: (None - Firewall is off)

Description of Problem:

Whenever I click login, it says "checking for [modpack] update" and then it goes white. After that it closes. Therefore I can't use it.

[modpack] = the selected modpack. In my case Technic SSP.

Please note: this also happens with Vanilla Minecraft (through Technic Launcher).
