Crash with a Dirt Screen (inc. derps)

Question

Posted

Launcher/pack Version:

0.5.4.4 Launcher, I downloaded it yesterday, so I assume 2.0/2.1.1 Tekkit? (idk, derp)

Operating System:

Windows 7

Version of Java:

No idea, how do I find out? (again, huge derp)

Description of Problem:

I've searched a bit and found a similar report, but the solutions did not help me whatsoever. After waiting ages for my launcher to log me in and open my minecraft, I choose multiplayer, log onto a server, and after about 30 seconds (maybe less) it crashes and goes to a dirt screen, with no error message or anything, then it changes to a white screen, and promptly closes itself.

I don't like when things go wrong, i'm the kind of guy who switches it on and off again and if it doesn't work after that I just complain. I've tried removing the cache, removing it all and reinstalling (inc. Minecraft files)... and thats me out of ideas.

ujellyofmysmartness?

I'm open to being dickslapped if i'm just stupid.

Error Messages:

N/A

It looks to me like your item id's are all screwed up... try re-downloading the server files and saving your world (if you have one) and putting it in... this could also be because you didnt upgrade an old world with the world upgrader, I think. Hope that helps!
