Launcher not opening

Description of Problem:

When I try to run the Technic Pack Launcher, it open a window saying "unhandled exception has occurred in your application..." and it happened after I downloaded the newest version of Java from Java 7 Update 6 to 7. I don't know if this has anythign to do with it.
