Not downloading and launcher stopping at 0-7 percent.

Antivirus Program: AVG

Description of Problem:

The downloader says checking for updates for about 1 second and closes. Then when I go into the luancher the percentage of tekkit loading stops and 0-7 percent.

Failed to connect

Error Log:

Disable AVG completely while the launcher runs. It's entirely possible you don't have enough RAM left to run the launcher/Technic/Tekkit successfully, though.
