How much RAM does tekkit use

How much RAM does my server need to run Tekkit?

It really depends on how many players you wish to host on that server.

Ok then lets say the maximum number of people i have on at once is 10 how much RAM would it generally use?

That's for vanilla servers, it doesn't take into account that tekkit is more intensive on the server(what with all the CPU heavy mods, most prominently buildcraft and millienaire)

as Hindos said that is for vanilla and i don't want to know if my computer can run it as i want to rent a server but i would like to know how much RAM running a Tekkit server uses so i don't get a server that has way to much RAM or not enough RAM although Thank You for your post

It doesn't take tekkit in account no, but it does give a good indication. It's not likely that tekkit requires double the ram or something. ( Millienaire isn't in tekkit btw? )

Trying this should definitely help you out, the tekkit server I play on used to be vanilla, same amount of players without problems in tekkit.
