VibeRaider Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 So I have been working so hard to get a Tekkit server setup through a host using Multicraft. I have seen a couple videos and at this point have FINALLY gotten it to looking like it works. The issue I am now stuck at, and I do mean stuck, is that I get a "There's no item called ###" error whenever I try to just spawn something into existence. I looked around for how to fix this and the like 4-5 hits I got really didn't give me a way to resolve my issue. I have tried putting everything in the root folder and the JAR folder. I have tried mixing it up. I know that when I put items in the root\mods folder it causes a bug similar to "11 more to go" while loading CLASS files(I think CLASS files) then it gets no where after that. I legitimately have exhausted myself trying to figure this out. The server price is a nice price, and the host has worked w/ me to get this far, though I don't know how much more they can do really. If I can't get this resolved I am considering a different host for more money but will provide automatic mod installation or assisted installation. Thank you for your time. Quote
JunkyPic Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Need more info on this. Dedicated server or something else? Post some screenshot of your problem, something, anything! Quote
VibeRaider Posted September 6, 2012 Author Posted September 6, 2012 I don't think a screenshot will tell you anything more than what I have said. (I mean its tekkit, except in command/text it says error mentioned above when you click on the GUI to the right to spawn an item in.) Not sure what you mean by dedicated server exactly? What info would you like? I am running my server on Max's MC Server hosting, uses Multicraft. Finally got it setup to run Tekkit.jar and have done everything the tutorials on ytube have said to install it but I end up w/ item not found error and I cannot figure out why that is occurring. Korialstrasz Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 i saw this error on my server to at one point. the problem has been a difference between server and client config for the item ID. So check those and see if there are differences between the two. Quote
VibeRaider Posted September 6, 2012 Author Posted September 6, 2012 What files would I look into to find these? Quote
Korialstrasz Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 well all files in the config folder on your client and on the server. The other method could be using an ID Dump from NEI to figure out what ids are used. http://technicpack.net/forums/threads/how-to-create-and-use-a-block-id-dump.10289/ Quote
VibeRaider Posted September 6, 2012 Author Posted September 6, 2012 I will try and do this tonight if I can, long day. Running into a diff issue right now, but that is because I messed w/ stuff. So I'll give it another go later tonight and then do the ID Dump. TY Quote
