An error when connecting to tekkit servers

Description of Problem:

The error message says failed to login: followed by allot of weird symbols and I have not seen the same error noted anywhere over the internet.

I'm having the same issue and someone else has posted some close to this. I have the same exact screen as you are.

Looks to be a common issue and I am sure they are working on it.

This post does not belong here. This is for the Technic Launcher, once you get into Technic or Tekkit, you shouldn't post here.

The Minecraft verification servers are down, and thus all multiplayer Minecraft, everywhere. This is not a Tekkit-specific issue. On the plus side, your single-player games should work just fine.
