New Power Stations?

Has anyone else thought it mitebkewl to have realistic power stations in tekkit/technic?

For instance, this would be a coal power station:

Water Pipes(fed by a pump?)....Steam............Kinetic Energy(?)

-------------------------------------------> Turbines -------------------> Generator

Industrial Furnace(Lots of Coal)

Things like nuclear power would be more complicated and much more dangerous.

IC2 makes solar energy the obvious choice unless there is a volcano/oil spout handy and I think that should not be the case.Coal, Oil and Gas are (unfortunately) the most reliable and rewarding energy-wise.

But there should be a consequence to using these, such as parts of your world slowly turning into a desert.

If anyone has any thoughts, please post, and tell me how stupid/genious I am.
