every time i try to download something i can't get it to do it

Antivirus Program: AVG anti virus

Description of Problem:

i try to download tekkit and hack slash mine and the others but some time in the down load it stops for a few seconds and says "download failed" i have a bought version of minecraft

There is a thread in the Technic Launcher Bugs/Problems forum that addresses this. Common Problems and Solutions. Using the search bar probably would have turned it up, along with a solution.

But you can download it by:

1. Open AVG

2. Go to Tools

3. Select Advanced Options

4. Third thing down from the list is "Temporarily Disable AVG protection", select it

5. Check the box, hit Apply/Okay and try to download

6. After download finishes re-enable AVG
