Cant ban Tekkit items please help!

my server is somewhat open to public but i dont want to start advertising without having the things that can grief protected area's banned. so i tried using no item but it wouldnt register (ban) the tekkit items such as destruction catalyst and nova catalyst i really want to open my server as soon as possible but i need this done before i can open please help thank you.

On your server edit mod_ee.props, at the bottom of this file are a load of "Allow......=1" entries, simply change that 1 to a 0 to ban them.

For example AllowDCatalyst=1 change it to say AllowDCatalyst=0
