Yesterday I started playing on a Hamachi Tekkit server with my friend, hosted from my laptop. Everything worked fine other than the server dropping out every now and then and getting a bit of lag, but it was very much playable. Windows decided to install an update and ruin my laptop, so I had to do a system restore to 3 days ago (10th September 2012) before I had installed the server or even Hamachi. Now when I have everything re-installed it refuses to load the server. I have re-installed Java, deleted the server and started again from a fresh download, I've ensured I'm running the correct version of Java, and I've tried changing the information in the batch file to : "%ProgramFiles%\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xmx12288M -Xms1024M -jar Tekkit.jar nogui. but with no avail.

If I follow the path it gives me, I'm taken to the jre6 bin but there is no Java executable there. I have it in Program Files (x86) but I have no clue how to change the path to that (as you've probably guessed I don't know how Java works >.<). This is the error message I get over and over;

C:\Users\Beth\Desktop\Tekkit Server>java -Xmx3G -Xms2G -jar Tekkit.jar nogui

'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command,

operable program or batch file.

C:\Users\Beth\Desktop\Tekkit Server>pause
