Description of Problem:

my tekkit stucks at white screen before mojang logo nothing happens just stucks, no error log

Operating System: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

Java Version: OpenJDK Java 6 Runtime

Antivirus Program: Ubuntu doesn't need one silly.

Description of Problem:

The technic launcher opens up fine. When I click log in, it brings up a window labeled

Tekkit the launcher closes and the Tekkit window loads the mods but the window never says Mojang. I use the default texture pack. The Tekkit window is blank and sits there doing nothing. Did you find a solution to this problem? I'm also on 12.04, 64bit and the grey/white screen problem with the launcher is driving me nuts.
