Increasing RAM usage for tekkit

hey, i'm getting some errors when i run tekkit, that it crashed because there was no more RAM for it to run.

so, i'm wondering, how do i increase the RAM usage for it? i know how to do it with Minecraft.exe

But i get confused when i try to do it on tekkit. I tried to do it on the launcher, but that didn't work either.

So basicly i'm wondering if there is a way to increase the RAM usage for tekkit and the other mod packs.

If you are talking about the server you need to edit the lunch.bat.

change this line "java -Xmx3G -Xms2G -jar Tekkit.jar nogui"

To: java -Xmx(Amount)(G = Gigs, M= Megabit ) -Xms(Amount)(G = Gigs, M= Megabit) -jar Tekkit.jar nogui

Amount is what ever you want to set it to.

Now for the client you can set it under options with in the launcher.
