Tekkit freezes after a few seconds, please help!

Hello, I've just re-installed my pc and downloaded techniclauncher, when I play Tekkit it freezes after just a few seconds, I've tried re-installing it, and it still freezes, I'm not using and texture packs, and all the settings are at fastest, I've tried altering the amount of memory it uses. It still freezs after a few seconds, I also have the latest version of Java. I am running this on a Windows 7 64bit computer, with 4gb ram, I know it's not much but I'll be upgrading soon I hope.

Hey McDanee,

do you have installed DirectX, Motherboarddrivers and Graphiccarddriver, too? If you were able to run it before without any problem u might forgot something...if not it can also be a Hardwareproblem like a broken Ram etc...

I think it might have something to do with the autosave function, as I turned up the timer for it to half an hour, and it took a lot longer for it to crash, can I turn it of?
