ME Cable not breaking?

Has anyone encountered this? I place an ME Cable in the wrong spot, and it will not break, im opped and in Creative.. and it still wont break.. ive logged off, and back in.. ive restarted the server.. but its still there.. i can break any other block just fine... now heres the kicker.. I can blow it up with tnt... and it stays gone.. Anyone?......
