tekkit server is up says my console, but when I add the server to the list, its not connected

so I have a dedi server, started tekkit up all loaded fine, it says the server is up but when I try to connect to it it doesn't connect, I used the dedi's ip no idea what I'm doing wrong.

If you are going to ask for help, please be very specific. Does your server file contain the correct info?
