"quick" question tekkit smp and ssp.

okay so...

i like tekkit like most people and i desided one day to make a tekkit server i have another server but it is not tekkit and most of my friends that play on it have tekkit so i made a tekkit server and tryed to get my friends to join but they could not join they had no bars even tho i was on the server the server is port forwarded. everything else works but that part. also i recently tried again and it would not let me join the server the only way it let me join was through the localhost:25565 thingy but not the usual way i would join would not work it said something close to connection refused to connect or something very close to that. also i looked through the server cmd thing and saw that there was a warning about computercraft there it is:

we do all have the most resent updates of tekkit and tekkit server.

if any of you would like to find out what i mean by me being on the server but no one else is able to join tell me so and i will post the ip.

My bets are on that you have two servers hosted on the same port, but if you want to check computer craft, then just cut the (CC) mod files and put them in a place you can get back to, and then try the server and see if it works.
