It never works, i've tried every single launcher shown and my java is updated so...help?

Launcher Version: Windows XP (IDK what else to put here)

Operating System: Windows XP

Java Version: Java 9

Antivirus Program: Kaspersky

Description of Problem:

Every time i try to download it says is has to do a "forced shut down" everyone says to take down the fire wall/anti virus system but I CANT. There are to many problems but I really want Technic! My computer is old and crappy but it should still work!

PLEASE HELP ME!

P.S. I've never downloaded a mod before so please dont speak as if i have, i wont know all the technical terms programmers' use sorry.
