Hi, I'm new to this. Help with the launcher options?

Ok so, I'd like to know a little about the options in the launcher.

Technic, is it just single player?

Tekkit, is that just multi player?

Also, what are yogbox and vanilla?

I also hope this is in the right section, I'm really sorry if it's not... I figured since it's kinda about the launcher this was the right section.

Please no mean comments either...

I just want to understand the game a little better before I start playing :)

Technic is just single player.

Tekkit is just multi player.

YogBox is kinda like Technic except with a different theme.

Vanilla is just plain minecraft with no mods installed.
