server doesn't recognize that players are connected

OS: Windows 7 64 bit

Java Version: 7u7

Description of Problem:

So I closed the server window after playing all day (save-all, stop, press any key). I have literally no applications open on my pc besides my browser right now while I type this, and at the very same time, my boyfriend is logged in and playing on my server. So...yeah. No idea what's going on here. Though this explains the previous problem, I guess.

Myself and another person on my LAN are currently playing on my tekkit server through Hamachi, but when I use tp, or xp commands on us, the server says that it can't find us (making the commands useless at this point). I tried list to have it display the currently logged in players and it responds with blank (nothing).

Willing to include whatever you need to know. Thanks for any and all help!

(Not sure where to find the error log but will paste it asap).

I am connected to localhost, he used my IPv4 address from hamachi.
