devryb Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Title: Random Chunk Regenerations Version: 3.1.2 OS: Not really sure, it's whatever OrbitBlade uses. Java Version: 7, not sure exactly. Whatever OrbitBlade uses. Description of Problem: We have seen a few chunks just randomly regenerate now but we had one last night that's the most destructive one yet. Error Messages: None found in log Error Log: None found that is related.
0 cheezytacos Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 This has happened to me twice, but it was the same chunk both times. I feel that it may have been world corruption from the server improperly turning off. My friend quit our server the second time it happened XD. Anyway thats all the information I have for you.
0 devryb Posted October 29, 2012 Author Posted October 29, 2012 Thanks for the information We also have weird world generation too where there are hard biome changes and sometimes checkerboard areas of ocean biome mixed with tundra. I don't know if that's related but it's more information anyways. I doubt it's due to the server being improperly shut off as it's professionally hosted and not a home run pc. We haven't yet seen the same chunk regen more then once but we have seen at least a dozen regen that we have noticed.
