Genral Issue : Update Failed

Antivirus Program: None at all

Description of Problem:

same issue as everyone else, loading the technic launcher, pressing log-in, and low and behold update failed, deleted ALL my anti-virus, disabled windows firewall, tried placing minecraft - 1.2.5 into cahce, tried deleting my entire minecraft + technic folders, tried restarting the pc, even tried a system restore, none of it helps, so as a few other people have stated, its got to be a server side issue, so we are at a stalemate

Just to add ( yes i know edit your post blah blah blah ) its nothing to do on minecraft's side, as oddly i changed my skin and it updated on the launcher, but still having the update issue, even after attempting multiple minecraft jar files
