So, I build a quarry. One time the combustion engine turned red and then exploded, Here is the way I tried to cool it. I pumped water and put it into a tank. And then used cobblestone waterproof pipes and connected it to the combustion engines, Not sure if i'm doing anything wrong.

How do I cool it if you can?

you have to pump the water directly into the engine.

Combustion engines only produce 5 MJ/t, a generator hooked up to an energy link will produce 4 MJ/t. The total amount of energy generated is equal, and generators don't blow up. Sorry, but I can't help but ask why to use an engine to power a quarry in the first place.
