alyssa3199 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I just made a new tekkit server and tried to port forward it with the port number of 25585 because i already have another regular minecraft server using 25565. I've tried to use tcp but it didnt work. I know tekkit is just a bukkit server at its core and i remember trying to make a bukkit server before and couldnt get that to work. Please help i dont know what im doing wrong!!
TheSpoonyOne Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 You have to make a UDP (I think its called) port also, either make 2 different ports with TCP and UDP or make one with "Both" or "TCP/UDP" obviously setting your port range to 25565 - 25585

cooleb09 Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Look for a program called evolve gaming VPN. Think hamachi on steroids and a lot more versatility. Me and a few friends of mine run a server like this.
