I have recently tried to get into the world of tekkit, and as such used this site to get the technic launcher http://www.technicpack.net/download
After doing so I chose the tekkit modpak, (has a little ship icon) and even played for a few minutes and saved the world. for some reason after installing i never received a prompt for making a shortcut or anything but figured I could later. After leaving the hot spot and turning my laptop off I turned it on at home and the launcher is no where to be found on my laptop. Ive done this twice and there is no trace. any ideas?
