Player Anchor

I need a mod that allows a block to be placed acting like a player was standing there.

This is so that I can farm mob spawners like i was in the game but not in the game or standing around doing nothing.

World and dimensional anchors only keep chucks alive but players are required to be nearby a mob spawner in order to trigger spawning.

same rule applies for creating a dark room and having creatures spawn, you still need to be within range.

any help is greatly appreciated.

in fact it comes to mind that a mod for either anchor would be nice to say for example if a world anchor could act as an active player in addition to its current features.
