modded world gone

i was playing on my server and i minimized it for a second and i closed my mac like i always have while the modded world was still on and i really don't remember what happened really all i remember was the nested day the worlds were gone on all of my modded worlds is there any way i can get it back because i and sometimes a little help of my friend we worked for weeks and i loved that word please help the one i was using (the one i am really talking about is the doggy talents stand alone mod and the magic dog and loads more)... and I thought it was the technic launcher sense all of my modded mods were gone too.
