Cannot log onto servers

Title: Cannot log onto servers

OS: Windows 7. 4 GB RAM. HP Pavilion g series. QuadCore

Java Version: Java 7

Description of Problem:

I cannot log onto any tekkit servers it just gives an error message.

Error Messages:

HTTP response code:503 for URL: http://session.minecraft.net/game/joinserver.jsp?user=Somark28&ses

Same thing with 3.1.3 and 3.1.2 I first noticed it this morning after a windows 7 update. I have win 7 pro 64 bit.

My localhost server says I was disconnected due to taking too long to log in.

I know i updated also and it does the same thing.

Same thing happening here.

The minecraft.net authentication (multiplayer) servers are down. You will not be able to connect to any active/online servers until service resumes. See here for a status update.

it would appear log in server are having problems, that would be what the 503 error generally points to
