Title: Possible Chunk Error?

Version: 3.1.2

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium x64

Java Version: Java 1.7.0

Description of Problem:

On the server a nuke was accidentally triggered and we think that has led to a chunk error, as you can see there is a massive hole in the map, is this a chunk error and how can we recover the chunk?

That is a very strange hole in the ground. Everything is gone but the reinforced stone and the bedrock?

Do you have backups? I hope the answer is yes.

If you do, you can use MCedit to copy the section that got destroyed from an earlier backup and paste it into your current world (the server must be offline when you do this). You won't lose any progress since the nuke went off this way.

If you don't have backups, I believe you are screwed unfortunately.

Also, you might want to edit your post and remove the bit where you signed your name before a mod sees it. It is against the rules (and kind of silly).
