World corruption from pipes.

Pum

Question

Title: World corruption from pipes.

Version: 3.1.2

OS: Windows 7 64-bit

Java Version: 7

Description of Problem:

I had a server crash and the world had corrupted so I went through the log and didn't understand it. I knew I just used teleport pipes so I googled for a fix. Someone recommended disabling teleport pipes so I did that and restarted the server. Problem solved, I could log back into my world.

I tried to recreate the problem by setting up a test using teleport pipes, red stone engine and a couple of chests. Bam the world goes down again. Below is the error message I get after I gave myself the mats I needed.

tl;dr teleport pipes, redstone engine, cobblestone pipes or wooden pipes corrupt my world.

Unrelated but maybe related infos:

  • A friend has a server with Clanslots, we have no additional mods other than the ones supplied via the website.
  • Noone can log on out of 5 of us prior to this. For now I've kept the pipes disabled.

Update!

I tried using the redstone engine in a different situation. Then realised that they don't do anything for quarrys so I used a combustion engine instead. I went to fill it up and got this line

at buildcraft.energy.TileEngine.q_(TileEngine.java:126)

java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: buildcraft.api.PowerProvider.receiveEnergy(I)V
