Cherle Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Hi, I'm Cherle. Recently I've been playing much more of tekkit with my friends and we've hit a wall. I have no idea how to easily/efficiently drain water out of an underwater area so we can have an underwater base. We're seasoned tekkit players so the plan was to make the underground base, seal it off, then run a pump into it and pump the water out. This has turned out to be slow and inefficient. I'm here to ask if anybody has an tips to easily draining water. Is there an item i'm missing that is made for this purpose? Thank you ahead of time. P.S. I have googled it and none of the videos or wikis were helpful on the matter really. Quote
Wesbot101 Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Try a force field with a underwater upgrade. It should drain all the water I think I have never tried it but yeah. Quote
Cherle Posted November 24, 2012 Author Posted November 24, 2012 I just looked that up on the wiki and yes, the forcefield will displace any liquid. Thank you for your help, I'll go try this out. Quote
Wesbot101 Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Also if you use a cutter upgrade and the radios is above top of the water water wont flow in when you turn the force field off. Quote
