Description of Problem:

when ever I try to log onto my friends server, it says logging on to world and then it stays at the dirt screen. After about 15 seconds the screen goes white.

Error Messages:

None

Error Log:

I don't understand what to put here.

first off update your java

secondly you need to give an error log

error log can be found at %appdata%/roaming/.techniclauncher/tekkit

I had this same problem and the error report wouldn't even show up.

I fixed it by going to

techniclauncher>tekkit>mods and delete

railcraft

and

railcraft plug in

I tried deleting both but when i get onto a server its says "This server erquires you to have the following mods

OH balls your using 3.1.2 My bad. Yeah then that's not going to work. That only fixes white screen for 3.1.3

Might need to update java.

as i said, first thing to do is update java, the version you have posted will not work with all the mods, you need java 7

secondly without a log it is very hard to see what is going on

also how much memory are you allocating to tekkit? do you actually have that memory available for use before you start tekkit? are your video card drivers up to date?

My video cars is up to date and Another thing to add is it just randomly started doing this in the middle of the day Sunday. It happened like this, I was on my friends server and I was making a factory with password doors via computer craft, then all then all the sudden the windows error "not responding would you like to keep looking for a solution or end program" so i hit end program and that's when the white screen started coming.

Are you able to join another server?

The white screen is often caused by a corrupted chunk you are spawning in. When you join the server, somebody should teleport you to another place.

You tried to join a second time after somebody teleport you? Have you tried to join another server?

Another possible fix is to delete your player data from the world ([world]/players/[player].dat)
