Launcher displays the splash screen then just a Grey screen

Description of Problem:

I start my tekkit via "java -jar tekkit-launcher-latest.jar" and then the little loading square shows up, and then it shows the blue wrench tekkit logo, and then a grey box pops up and just stays there
