tekit server error can not find server

hi i just recently set up a tekkit server on a new computer using hamachi

on my laptop the way that i did it worked fine but now other computers refuse to recognize the server as a server

i have the correct ip

and i was wondering if because i have mostly run a server on my laptop that maybe i need to set it to a new port?

if so please exsplane how
