Username is "Player" when in offline mode

Does anyone know how to fix your username from being "Player" when you play in offline mode? It gets really irritating when I don't have internet and I have to rename all my bag and tablet files for EE for me to play the game. Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks in advance.

You cannot have anything other than 'Player' during offline mode. The game gets your name via the connection to minecraft.net. It's the same reason why you can't have your custom skin.
