Launcher not opening when installed

My launcher isnt opening when i use the installer or even installing all it does it creates a folder called TechnicLauncher in my downloads folder please help (im on a mac)

yo i have this very same issue can someone plz help?

the file that i download for the technic launcher says .jar but has a zip icon and behaves like one opening the supposed jar file into the core files for the launcher
